Janice Horsman, our CEO, and Muskaan Khurana and Leila Rhout, from the Mother Tongue Service, were on hand to receive the award for the work we have been doing to reach diverse communities in the north of Westminster and Kensington who need support to manage depression, anxiety and stress in their lives. The service offers specialist counselling and support for people from Arabic and Farsi speaking speaking communities.
WW Mind joined with our partners, colleagues, friends and local community volunteers, many of whom also received well deserved awards. It was an inspiring night, celebrating the work of volunteers and the voluntary sector in supporting and sustaining local communities and civic society.
